Kate Mulgrew<\/strong>, and the show on which she is currently appearing, Orange is the New Black<\/em>, received Critics’ Choice<\/em> awards.<\/p>\n The awards were given out at the Fourth Annual Critics’ Choice Awards<\/em> ceremony, held last night.<\/p>\n Mulgrew tied with Allison Janney<\/strong> for Best Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series<\/em>; Mulgrew for her work in Orange is the New Black<\/em>, and Janney for her work in Mom<\/em>.<\/p>\n Orange is the New Black<\/em> won for Best Comedy Series<\/em>, beating out The Big Bang Theory, Broad City, Louie, Silicon Valley<\/em>, and Veep<\/em>.<\/p>\n Several other Trek actors were nominated for awards, but didn’t win. Whoopi Goldberg<\/strong> was up for a Critics’ Choice<\/em> award in the Best Actress In A Movie Or Mini-Series<\/em> category for her work in A Day Late and a Dollar Short<\/em>, but lost to Jessica Lange<\/strong> who won for American Horror Story<\/em>.
