Star Trek: Voyager’<\/em>s Robert Picardo<\/strong> will be taking part in Occupants,<\/em> an independent film currently in the fundraising process.<\/p>\n Deep-pocketed donors to the project can even score a small part in the film and act alongside Picardo.<\/p>\n Occupants<\/em>, a “found footage” science-fiction\/horror film, is about “a young couple who discover a parallel version of themselves while surfing the Internet.” It will be produced by Russ Emanuel <\/strong>and Howard Nash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Picardo and actress Chalet Brannan<\/strong> will have roles in Occupants<\/em>, and the producers hope for a theatrical release, followed by a Blu-ray\/DVD, Netflix <\/em>and Redbox<\/em> releases.<\/p>\n Various perks are offered to donors, ranging from thank yous and production updates, to a film cameo and a personal memento from Picardo from his years as “The Doctor” on Star Trek: Voyager.<\/em><\/p>\n For a limited time, “all donors, regardless of their contributed amount, will be entered into a raffle to meet star Robert Picardo, either on set, or after production, in either New York or Los Angeles (he presently lives and works in both cities).”<\/p>\n The Occupants<\/em> campaign runs through September 10.
