Cracked.com<\/em> has introduced Starship Icarus<\/em>, a new four-part online science fiction satire series.<\/p>\n

The series aims to “seek out strange new life and adventure” courtesy of the “low-level support crew who maintain” the Starship Icarus.<\/p>\n

Five lower-deck “flunkies” are the focus of the series, and they maintain the computers and other systems that keep the USS Icarus running, a task made more difficult as the starship tends to “spew raw sewage onto certain decks” when it gets nervous.<\/p>\n

The four episodes are: The Ridiculous Reality of Life in Space, The Fatal Flaw in the Star Trek Universe, Why Star Trek Technology Would Destroy Us<\/em>, and Why Work Will Still Suck in Space.<\/em><\/p>\n
