Star Trek into Darkness<\/em>‘ Bruce Greenwood<\/strong> has been cast in Truth,<\/em> the story of the scandal that tarnished News Anchor Dan Rather<\/strong>‘s reputation.<\/p>\n Truth<\/em> is based on Mary Mapes<\/strong>‘ memoir Truth and Duty: The Press, the President, and the Privilege of Power<\/em>. Mapes was Dan Rather’s producer.<\/p>\n In Truth and Duty: The Press, the President, and the Privilege of Power<\/em>, a story about special treatment provided to George W. Bush<\/strong> during his Air National Guard Days in the Vietnam War era turns out to be false when some of the documents on which the story was based are suspected forgeries.<\/p>\n The resulting fallout results in the firing of Mapes, and damage to Rather’s reputation.<\/p>\n Robert Redford<\/strong> will be playing Rather, with Cate Blanchett<\/strong> playing Mapes.
