Star Trek merchMAKER<\/em>, an online platform that allows UK fans to create their very own personalized merchandise, has released today.<\/p>\n With the Star Trek merchMAKER<\/em>, fans can “choose from an array of character images and quotes to create unique products.”<\/p>\n A five step process will allow fans to create their own personalized Trek merchandise. To begin, the fan chooses one of the following themes: Starfleet,<\/em> The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise<\/em>, or Ships.<\/em><\/p>\n Then the fan chooses an image from the collection selected. For example, in The Original Series<\/em> category, there are three dozen images from which to choose, including The Animated Series<\/em> images, images from Trek comics, and images from the televised series.<\/p>\n For Step Three, the fan chooses a quote taken from the category. The Original Series<\/em> category includes nineteen choices, and in most of them, the name of the fan is included. For example, one quote for someone named John would be “Fate Protects Fools, John and Ships Named Enterprise.” Another quote for Mary would be “Beam Me Up, Mary.”<\/p>\n In Step Four, the product is chosen. There are t-shirts, hoodies, zoodies (zipper-up hoodies), children’s apparel, phone cases, iPad cases, mugs, and a portrait canvas.<\/p>\n In Step Five, the final details for the item, including fan name, are chosen and then the item is ordered.<\/p>\n MerchMAKER<\/em> is also running a sweepstakes, where three lucky winners will win a voucher to create their own merchandise.
