Abrams, Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n<\/strong>, and Academy President <strong>Cheryl Boone Isaacs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Nominations for twenty-four categories were announced, and <em>Star Trek into Darkness<\/em> actor <strong>Benedict Cumberbatch<\/strong> was nominated for <em>Performance by an actor in a leading role<\/em> for his work in <em>The Imitation Game<\/em>.
