The Star Trek<\/em> comics due out from IDW Publishing<\/em> for April 2015 have been announced.<\/p>\n Two titles will be released in April; Star Trek #44 – Five Year Mission<\/em>, and Star Trek\/Planet of the Apes #5.<\/em><\/p>\n First up is Star Trek #44 – Five Year Mission<\/em> with the Eurydice Part 2<\/em> story. In this issue, written by Mike Johnson<\/strong> and overseen by Roberto Orci<\/strong>, the Abrams’ Enterprise crew “[will] find themselves in the clutches of the Dark Market Syndicate deep in the Delta Quadrant.”<\/p>\n Featuring art by Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, and a cover by Joe Corroney<\/strong>, the thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99, and will also feature a subscription variant photo cover.<\/p>\n The second Trek comic out in April will be Star Trek\/Planet of the Apes #5<\/em>. This will be the final issue featuring the Star Trek\/Planet of the Apes<\/em> crossover story. Written by Scott <\/strong>and David Tipton<\/strong>, with art and cover by Rachael Stott<\/strong>, Star Trek\/Planet of the Apes #5<\/em> “follows Kirk and the Enterprise crew as they try to wrest control of the Gorilla army from the Klingons.”<\/p>\n Thirty-two pages in length, the issue will cost $3.99 and will include an essay by comedian\/fan Dana Gould<\/strong>. A subscription variant will feature a J.K.
