The “first look” agreement between J.J. Abrams<\/strong>‘ Bad Robot Productions<\/em> and Paramount<\/em> has been extended.<\/p>\n A “first look” agreement means that one of the parties in the deal has the right to see and possibly bid on a project first, before it is shown or offered to others.<\/p>\n The “first look” deal with Bad Robot<\/em> has been extended through July 2018.<\/p>\n “Through unrivaled imagination, talent and skill, J.J. has consistently entertained audiences around the world with his unique and creative approach to storytelling,” said Brad Grey<\/strong>, chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures<\/em>. “Paramount<\/em> takes an incredible amount of pride in our longtime partnership with J.J. and the entire Bad Robot<\/em> team, and we look forward to being their home for many more years to come.”<\/p>\n “I am so grateful to Brad Grey and all of Paramount<\/em> for giving Bad Robot<\/em> such a supportive, creative, and collaborative home,” said Abrams. “The whole Bad Robot<\/em> Team looks forward to the coming years with our most excellent partners.”<\/p>\n The next Trek movie will be produced by Bad Robot<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The “first look” agreement between J.J.
