Star Trek: The Animated Voyages<\/em>, a new online digital comic book series, features the voyages of the USS Starhaven.<\/p>\n Set in the time of the original series, the USS Starhaven is on its five-year-mission, where the crew will encounter new life, and old foes.<\/p>\n The crew of the USS Starhaven features familiar faces from The Animated Series<\/em> as well as some newcomers. Captain Svenquist O’Shea was first seen in the Pirates of Orion<\/em> as the commanding officer of the USS Huron.<\/p>\n Others on the Starhaven crew include Thelin (Yesteryear<\/em>), Horatio Wyatt, Scarlett Callaway, Daedal, Gabler, and Virginia Erickson.<\/p>\n In this first issue, Perils of Waves and War<\/em>, “what begins as an investigation into the disappearances of two Starfleet ships quickly escalates into a confrontation of galactic proportions. More than a weapon, what is at stake is the altering of the balance of power in the entire quadrant and beyond. The crew soon realize[s] a Federation enemy holds the key to unlocking a technological marvel, and the Starhaven may not be able to escape destruction!”<\/p>\n Star Trek: The Animated Voyages<\/em> was created and written by Jon Markiewitz<\/strong>.
