A silent auction is being held in honor of William Shatner<\/strong>‘s yearly Hollywood Charity Horse Show.<\/em><\/p>\n The silent auction has already begun, and will run through April 26.<\/p>\n This year is the twenty-fifth year for the Hollywood Charity Horse Show<\/em>, which “brings together world-class reining horses and riders in breathtaking slides and spins as they compete for top honors in their respective classes.” At sunset, there is a live auction and musical performances.<\/p>\n Profits from the annual event will go to several Los Angeles-area groups, including “AHEAD With Horses, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Hollenbeck Police Activities League (PAL), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital<\/em>, and The Painted Turtle<\/em>.”<\/p>\n Items in this year’s auction can be seen here<\/a>, and includes over one hundred items. Some of the items are from television shows and movies (and some are autographed), and include: signed posters, props from shows including The Big Bang Theory<\/em>, scripts, action figures and more. There is merchandise, artwork, apparel, vacation packages, and personal services available.<\/p>\n Shatner said that more items are being added, and although at press time, no Trek items were on the list, Shatner said via his Twitter<\/em> feed that “CBS<\/em> sent over a large number of Star Trek<\/em> items and I signed them all…there is a bunch of signed products from Star Trek<\/em> going up.”<\/p>\n This year’s special music guest at the Hollywood Charity Horse Show<\/em> will be Kevin Cronin<\/strong>, lead singer and songwriter for REO Speedwagon<\/em>. Two other band members will also be performing; Bryan Hitt<\/strong> and Dave Amato<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Shatner will lead a live auction at the show.
