{"id":40540,"date":"2015-04-22T11:26:36","date_gmt":"2015-04-22T18:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=40540"},"modified":"2015-04-22T11:26:36","modified_gmt":"2015-04-22T18:26:36","slug":"shatner-starts-new-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2015\/04\/shatner-starts-new-website\/","title":{"rendered":"Shatner Starts New Website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40541\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/CaliforniaDrought-042215.gif\" alt=\"CaliforniaDrought-042215\" width=\"580\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once again, the California drought is on <strong>William Shatner<\/strong>&#8216;s mind and he has opened a new website to discuss the matter.<\/p>\n<p>The new website is <em>ShatnersWater.org<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->&#8220;So with today being Earth Day,&#8221; said Shatner via <em>Twitter<\/em>, &#8220;I&#8217;ve opened up <em>http:\/\/ShatnersWater.org<\/em> to start a discussion of the drought issue and technologies to solve it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One of the topics of discussion includes that which was proposed by Shatner recently, a pipeline to California from areas which get a surplus of rain. &#8220;There are a lot of areas that get excessive rains.
