William Shatner Presents: Chaos on the Bridge<\/em> makes its debut this week at the New York City International Film Festival.<\/em><\/p>\n Shatner will be at the event to promote his documentary.<\/p>\n In William Shatner Presents: Chaos on the Bridge<\/em>, fans will get an “enlightening look” at the first two seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em>.<\/p>\n Shatner interviewed The Next Generation<\/em> cast members such as Sir Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes<\/strong>, and John de Lancie<\/strong> for the one-hour documentary. Others interviewed included John Pike<\/strong>, then president of Paramount Television<\/em>; writers Maurice Hurley<\/strong> and D.C. Fontana<\/strong>; producers Rick Berman<\/strong> and Brannon Braga<\/strong>; and other behind-the-scenes crewmembers.<\/p>\n All was not tranquil on the set, or behind the scenes. There were “egos, the infighting, the fan backlash…bluffs and threats,” and the cast was not certain that the series would survive.<\/p>\n William Shatner Presents: Chaos on the Bridge<\/em> will be screened Friday, May 1 at 8 PM at the Directors Guild of America,<\/em> 110 West 57 Street NY, NY.
