Will Wheaton<\/strong>, who brews his own beer, will be introducing a new beer at the Ottawa ComicCon<\/em> this weekend.<\/p>\n The beer to be introduced is called HefeWheaton<\/em> and it is based on a Bavarian Hefewiezen<\/em> style of wheat beer.<\/p>\n HefeWheaton<\/em> was created by Wheaton and Ottawa’s Clocktower Brew Pub<\/em>.<\/p>\n “I think it’s really fun to share something that I am super passionate about,” said Wheaton. “People are always asking me, ‘How can I get your home brew?’ The reality is, the liquor laws make that impossible. This is really exciting to me; it’s an opportunity to work together with a craft brewery using a recipe I helped design.”<\/p>\n “I have a real passion for brewing and craft brewers, and I share in that passion,” Wheaton added. “It’s really rewarding to be able to bring something to one of these events that is totally different.”<\/p>\n HefeWheaton<\/em> will feature “juicy, fruity notes,” said Wheaton. “I wanted to make a beer that was accessible to lots of people that wouldn’t be off-putting and intimidating.”<\/p>\n The Ottawa ComicCon<\/em> will be held May 8-10 at the EY Centre<\/em> in Ottawa.
