Star Trek into Darkness<\/em>‘ Bruce Greenwood<\/strong> (Captain Pike) will have a role in American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson.<\/em><\/p>\n American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson<\/em> will be seen as a limited series on FX<\/em>.<\/p>\n “Based on the book The Run of His Life: The People V. O.J. Simpson<\/em> by Jeffrey Toobin<\/strong>, the limited series is a look at the O.J. Simpson<\/strong> trial told from the perspective of the lawyers. It explores the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court, and how a combination of prosecution overconfidence, defense shrewdness, and the LAPD<\/em>‘s history with the city’s African-American community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt.”<\/p>\n Greenwood will take on the role of the man who prosecuted Simpson, Gil Garcetti<\/strong>, Los Angeles County District Attorney.<\/p>\n Others involved in the series include Cuba Gooding Jr.<\/strong> as O.J. Simpson, John Travolta<\/strong> as defense attorney Robert Shapiro<\/strong>, David Schwimmer<\/strong> as defense attorney Robert Kardashian<\/strong>, and Sarah Paulson<\/strong> as prosecutor Marcia Clark<\/strong>.<\/p>\n American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson<\/em> is currently under production in Los Angeles.
