IDW Publishing<\/em> Trek comics for October 2015 includes three comics.<\/p>\n The Trek comics for October are Star Trek\/Green Lantern #4, Star Trek: Gold Key Archives, Vol. 4<\/em>, and Star Trek #50\u2014Five-Year Mission<\/em>.<\/p>\n Star Trek\/Green Lantern #4<\/em>, the fourth of six stories, continues the crossover between Star Trek<\/em> and The Green Lantern<\/em>. In this issue, “Starfleet and the Green Lantern Corps<\/em> team up in the middle of a ring-powered galactic war. The evil Nekron has arrived in the Star Trek<\/em> universe…with his eye on resurrecting the planet Vulcan itself.”<\/p>\n Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong> with art by Angel Hernandez<\/strong>, and a cover by Marc Laming<\/strong>, the thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99 and will feature variant covers by J.K. Woodward<\/strong>, and Garry Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Star Trek: Gold Key Archives, Vol. 4<\/em> will also debut in October. In this collection, “the first comic book adventures of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her crew [are collected]. Fully remastered with new colors, Vol. 4 gathers issues #19\u201324, including the stories The Haunted Asteroid, A World Gone Mad, The Mummies of Heitus VII, Siege in Superspace, Child’s Play<\/em> and The Trial of Captain Kirk<\/em>.”<\/p>\n Written by Arnold Drake, John David Warner<\/strong>, and Gerry Boudreau<\/strong>; with art by Alberto Giolitti <\/strong>and Sal Trapani<\/strong>, and a cover by Michael Stribling<\/strong>, the one-hundred-and-sixty-four page issue will cost $29.99.<\/p>\n Wrapping up October will be Star Trek #50\u2014Five-Year Mission.<\/em> In this special anniversary issue, a new three-part adventure makes it debut. “For the first time, the crew of the new movie franchise will meet its evil Mirror counterpart. It’s Enterprise vs. Enterprise, Federation vs. the Terran Empire, with the fate of two universes at stake.”<\/p>\n Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong>, with art by Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, the forty-page issue will cost $4.99.
