Several candidates are currently vying for the leadership position, which will be determined in an election which begins today and ends in September.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Labour Party are in complete disarray,&#8221; said Stewart, who is a longtime supporter of the party. &#8220;How to return to a world where we can say, first and foremost, we believe in fairness because that has been absent from British politics for quite a long time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I wish that politicians would spend more time watching <em>Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em>,&#8221; said Stewart. &#8220;Because unlike my predecessor, Captain James T. Kirk, Jean Luc Picard believed first and foremost in negotiation. He was a diplomat before he was a warrior. Talk, talk, talk and keep on talking.
