{"id":42031,"date":"2015-10-28T08:58:55","date_gmt":"2015-10-28T15:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=42031"},"modified":"2015-10-28T08:58:55","modified_gmt":"2015-10-28T15:58:55","slug":"star-trek-online-season-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2015\/10\/star-trek-online-season-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek Online: Season 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest season of <em>Star Trek Online, Season 11 &#8211; New Dawn<\/em>, has been released.<\/p>\n<p><em>Season 11<\/em> features a &#8220;revamped Cardassian mission series and two new featured episodes which introduce a story arc that will extend into 2016. <em>New Dawn<\/em> will also incorporate gameplay updates, including an all-new reputation and the debut of the Admiralty System.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>New Dawn<\/em> &#8220;takes place after the end of the epic, five-year Iconian War. Now it is time for a new beginning. In two new featured episodes, <em>Sunrise<\/em> and<em> Stormbound<\/em>, players discover a previously unknown civilization on the brink of disaster, and uncover the identity of a mysterious time-traveler. Meanwhile, Admiral Leeta (reprised by <strong>Chase Masterson<\/strong> from<em> Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em>) has taken the opportunity to lead an offensive into the prime universe. She leads the Terran Empire in an attack against the Badlands and <em>Deep Space Nine<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Star Trek Online<\/em> will also be updated with the new Admiralty System, which challenges players to send out their inactive ships to complete dangerous assignments and earn rewards. Each starship is assigned special abilities and stats, which requires players to think strategically when they send them on various assignments. Progress will be earned through two campaigns, representing major factions within the galaxy \u2013 the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Season 11 New Dawn<\/em> includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New Featured Episode:<em> Sunrise (Part 1)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>New Featured Episode: <em>Stormbound<\/em> (<em>Part 2<\/em>, To be released at a later date)<\/li>\n<li>Remastered Cardassian Story Arc \u2013 Four All-New Episodes<\/li>\n<li>New <em>Space Queue: Counterpoint<\/em><\/li>\n<li>New <em>Ground Queue: Assault on Terok Nor<\/em><\/li>\n<li>New <em>Space Battlezone: The Badlands<\/em><\/li>\n<li>New <em>Reputation: Terran Task Force<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Admiralty System<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Star Trek Online<\/em> has improved in countless ways since our original release in 2010,\u201d said <strong>Steve Ricossa<\/strong>, executive producer of <em>Star Trek Onlin<\/em>e. &#8220;We have ten major seasons and two expansions behind us, and so much more ahead of us.
