Perfect World Entertainment, Inc.<\/em> and Cryptic Studios<\/em> have announced that fans in the Star Trek Online<\/em> community have raised money for the Pop Culture Hero Coalition<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Pop Culture Hero Coalition<\/em> is an anti-bullying organization founded by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em>‘s Chase Masterson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over $35,000 was raised in just several days. The funds will be used to “promote the organization at pop culture events and fund anti-bullying campaigns in inner-city schools that aren\u2019t able to afford programming. The organization\u2019s mission is to take a stand against bullying, racism, misogyny, cyber-bullying, LBGT-bullying and other forms of hate through the popularity of media.”<\/p>\n

“We’re so proud of our community for banding together to support Pop Culture Hero Coalition<\/em>,” said Star Trek Online<\/em> Executive Producer Steve Ricossa<\/strong>. “We’ve always known that we wanted to support this cause.
