{"id":42564,"date":"2016-01-18T11:35:39","date_gmt":"2016-01-18T19:35:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=42564"},"modified":"2016-01-18T11:35:39","modified_gmt":"2016-01-18T19:35:39","slug":"star-trek-beyond-set-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2016\/01\/star-trek-beyond-set-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek Beyond Set Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A visit to the<em> Star Trek Beyond<\/em> set by <em>Entertainment Tonight<\/em> revealed a small plot secret.<\/p>\n<p>The secret was revealed courtesy of a photo.<\/p>\n<p>In the video shown below, <strong>Chris Pine<\/strong> shows a weapons bay, <strong>John Cho<\/strong> spills the small plot secret, and <strong>Karl Urban<\/strong> talks uniforms and explains how the scripts were set up so that any leaks could be traced.<\/p>\n<p>Urban also revealed the time frame for this movie. &#8220;On this one you&#8217;ll notice there&#8217;s been aging,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s like there&#8217;s two years into the mission, so there&#8217;s wear and tear on the ship.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cho gave insight into the mindset of some of the crew partway through that five year mission. &#8220;At the beginning of the movie, we&#8217;re all sort of getting to a, uh.. We&#8217;re all home sick,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And we&#8217;re getting into our ruts, and we&#8217;ve been around each other too long, and that&#8217;s sort of where it starts.
