Five Star Trek<\/em> comics will make their appearance this May courtesy of IDW Publishing<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The titles include Star Trek #57 — Legacy of Spock, Part Three, Star Trek New Visions: Of Woman Born, Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 3, Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #3<\/em> and Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #4<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Star Trek #57\u2014Legacy of Spock, Part Three<\/em> will find the future of New Vulcan hanging in the balance, and the elder Spock a prisoner of the Romulan Empire.<\/p>\n

Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong> and featuring art and a cover by Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, Star Trek #57 \u2014 Legacy of Spock, Part Three<\/em> will also feature a subscription variant by Angel Hernandez<\/strong>. The thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99.<\/p>\n

In Star Trek New Visions: Of Woman Born<\/em>, “Dr. McCoy confronts Captain Kirk with a staggering discovery…Lt. Carolyn Palamas is pregnant with the child of Apollo. Or is she?”<\/p>\n

Written and with art and photo manipulation by John Byrne<\/strong>, the forty-eight page issue will cost $7.99.<\/p>\n

In Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 3<\/em>, the U.S.S. Enterprise “embarks on a new five-year mission of exploration,” set after the events of Star Trek into Darkness<\/em>. “Vol. 3 collects the stories The Khitomer Conflict, Parallel Lives, I, Enterprise<\/em> and Lost Apollo<\/em> from issues #25\u201334 of the ongoing Star Trek<\/em> series.”<\/p>\n

Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong>, the two hundred-and-twenty-eight page issue features art by Erfan Fajar, Yasmin Liang<\/strong> and Joe Corroney<\/strong>, as well as a cover by John Watson<\/strong>. Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 3<\/em> will cost $29.99.<\/p>\n

Next up is Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #3<\/em>. This issue is a “special event mini-series celebrating the Fiftieth anniversary of Star Trek<\/em>.” In this issue, “Kirk and the crew take on the Klingons in a battle unlike any you’ve seen before: aboard the Enterprise itself.”<\/p>\n

Written by Mike Johnson <\/strong>and Ryan Parrott<\/strong>, with art and cover by Angel Hernandez<\/strong>, the thirty-two page issue will cost $3.99. Variant covers will come courtesy of Tony Shasteen <\/strong>and Stephen Mooney<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wrapping up May will be Star Trek: Manifest Destiny #4<\/em>. This story is the fourth and final one of the Manifest Destiny<\/em> mini-series.<\/p>\n
