{"id":42792,"date":"2016-02-23T09:51:33","date_gmt":"2016-02-23T17:51:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=42792"},"modified":"2016-02-23T09:51:33","modified_gmt":"2016-02-23T17:51:33","slug":"star-trek-seven-casting-rumor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2016\/02\/star-trek-seven-casting-rumor\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek Seven Casting Rumor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A familiar name might be coming to the new <em>Star Trek <\/em>series set to debut next January<\/p>\n<p>During a podcast for <em>MORTIS<\/em>, actor <strong>Tony Todd<\/strong> claimed to be on casting short list for <em>Star Trek Seven<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Todd is very familiar to Trek fans as Worf&#8217;s older brother and as an older Jake Sisko in <em>Deep Space Nine<\/em>&#8216;s <em>The Visitor<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>CBS<\/em> is doing their own series again,&#8221; said Todd. &#8220;I&#8217;m on a very short [casting] list.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a year away. They&#8217;re not even going to get official cast until, probably, the fourth quarter of the year. And my only concern about it is that it&#8217;s going to be that [<em>CBS All Access<\/em>] online thing.
