Abrams<\/strong>&#8216; love of lens flares, and those who went to see the latest Abrams project, <em>Star Wars: The Force Awakens<\/em> soon realized that he had used much less of the filming trick than usual.<\/p>\n<p>The reason was that someone close to him said &#8220;enough already!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Abrams&#8217; wife <strong>Katie McGrath<\/strong>, A PR executive, is the one that told Abrams that enough was enough. &#8220;There was one scene in <em>Star Trek Into Darkness<\/em> where you literally couldn&#8217;t see what was going on,&#8221; explained Abrams during a recent appearance on <em>The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em>. &#8220;And it was a very important, emotional scene. And <strong>Alice Eve<\/strong>, the actress, was somewhere behind this crazy lens flare glaring and Katie just looked at me and said, &#8216;OK, I think this is it.
