{"id":42984,"date":"2016-03-22T10:00:31","date_gmt":"2016-03-22T17:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=42984"},"modified":"2016-03-22T10:00:31","modified_gmt":"2016-03-22T17:00:31","slug":"star-trek-50th-anniversary-art-exhibit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2016\/03\/star-trek-50th-anniversary-art-exhibit\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek 50th Anniversary Art Exhibit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Star Trek: 50 Artists, 50 Years<\/em>; a new art exhibit, will make its debut in San Diego during this year&#8217;s<em> Comic Con<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Created to commemorate this year&#8217;s 50th anniversary of <em>Star Trek<\/em>, the exhibit will feature Trek-inspired works by fifty artists from ten different countries.<\/p>\n<p>Included will be &#8220;original 2D and 3D pieces by the artists,&#8221; including &#8220;illustrations, photographs, sculptures, paintings, graphics and more.&#8221; Also included will be a work of art by <strong>Leonard Nimoy<\/strong>, who was a photographer.<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Trek: 50 Artists, 50 Years<\/em> will debut at <em>Michael J.
