{"id":43107,"date":"2016-04-12T10:44:21","date_gmt":"2016-04-12T17:44:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=43107"},"modified":"2016-04-12T10:44:21","modified_gmt":"2016-04-12T17:44:21","slug":"new-hallmark-ornaments-only-available-at-three-conventions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2016\/04\/new-hallmark-ornaments-only-available-at-three-conventions\/","title":{"rendered":"New Hallmark Ornaments Only Available At Three Conventions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Hallmark<\/em> is once again making exclusive Trek-themed ornaments available at several Trek conventions.<\/p>\n<p>The ornaments include a USS Enterprise, and Maxine, dressed in Trek cosplay.<\/p>\n<p>The ornaments will be available at the <em>San Diego Comic-Con, the New York Comic Con<\/em>, and at <em>Star Trek: Mission New York<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>For fans of the <em>Hallmark<\/em> Trek-themed ornaments who aren&#8217;t fortunate enough to live in either city, or who can&#8217;t afford to hop a plane and attend those conventions, tough luck. This seems to be an ongoing trend and those fans who have collected the ornaments since the beginning twenty-five years are out-of-luck again unless they have contacts or can pay the exorbitant Ebay prices for the exclusives that will surely follow.<\/p>\n<p>The regular ornaments making their debut this year include Pavel Chekov, a gold-painted Enterprise commemorating the Fiftieth Anniversary of <em>Star Trek<\/em>, and Kirk and the salt vampire (<em>The Man Trap<\/em>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hallmark is once again making exclusive Trek-themed ornaments available at several Trek conventions.
