A new book due out this week will feature the novelizations of forty-five original series episodes, all in one seven-hundred-and-twenty page book.<\/p>\n
Star Trek: The Classic Episodes<\/em> comes out this Friday and is part of the Barnes & Noble Collectible Editions<\/em> series. The stories were written by James Blish <\/strong>and J.A. Lawrence<\/strong> and include some of the best of Star Trek, <\/em>including such classics as Amok Time, The City on the Edge of Forever, The Doomsday Machine, The Trouble with Tribbles, The Menagerie<\/em>, and more.<\/p>\n “Our editorial team had been wanting for some time to add a Star Trek<\/em>-themed title to our collectible editions line and when we realized that 2016 would mark the fiftieth anniversary of the original Star Trek<\/em> television series we saw a golden opportunity,” said a Barnes and Noble<\/em> representative. “Working with our partners at Penguin Random House,<\/em> who published the original story collections, we chose the forty-five episodes that we thought Star Trek<\/em> fans would instantly recognize as classics.”<\/p>\n Star Trek: The Classic Episodes<\/em> can be ordered here<\/a>.
