{"id":43286,"date":"2016-05-04T10:42:54","date_gmt":"2016-05-04T17:42:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=43286"},"modified":"2016-05-04T10:42:54","modified_gmt":"2016-05-04T17:42:54","slug":"more-woes-for-lien","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2016\/05\/more-woes-for-lien\/","title":{"rendered":"More Woes For Lien"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jennifer Lien<\/strong> made a court appearance this week for a &#8220;status check,&#8221; but was not happy to see cameras.<\/p>\n<p>The actress shielded her face as she left the courtroom.<\/p>\n<p>Lien was in court due to various charges from last spring which are still pending. She tried to evade and then resist arrest, ramming a police cruiser in the process. Lien was later charged with indecent exposure after an incident last August<\/p>\n<p>The former actress was ordered to undergoing mental health treatment, which she is doing, and to pay $2,291.85 in restitution to the police department whose cruiser she damaged.<\/p>\n<p>Lien&#8217;s legal woes continue. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daltondailycitizen.com\/news\/area-arrests\/article_f021279e-e353-11e5-bd4d-53dc9e09415f.html\">Dalton Daily Citizen<\/a>, Lien was arrested back in March and charged with DUI and failure to maintain a lane.<\/p>\n<p>When told of the arrest, which happened in Whitfield County, Georgia, Public Defender <strong>Kim Nelson<\/strong>, whose office is representing Lien, said &#8220;That&#8217;s news to me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>How the new charges will affect Lien&#8217;s cases in Tennessee is uncertain.
