Adam Nimoy’<\/strong>s For The Love of Spock<\/em>, the documentary of actor Leonard Nimoy<\/strong>, will make its debut on September 9 in US theaters and On Demand. For The Love of Spock<\/em> premiered at the recent Tribeca Film Festival<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The worldwide rights for the movie have been acquired by Gravitas Ventures<\/em>, a “leading all rights distributor of independent cinema.”<\/p>\n

For The Love of Spock “celebrates the upcoming Fiftieth Anniversary of Star Trek<\/em> through a personal, intimate look at the life and career of Leonard Nimoy – and his alter ego Mr. Spock – as told by his son, Adam Nimoy, featuring never-before-seen home videos and family photos. Zachary Quinto, William Shatner, George Takei, J.J. Abrams, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana<\/strong>, Jim Parsons<\/strong> and more join in the celebration revealing why the world holds both Leonard Nimoy and his iconic character so dear and how Star Trek<\/em> still affects the globe fifty years after its origin.”<\/p>\n
