Yesterday, the shocking news of Anton Yelchin<\/strong>‘s death was released and his fellow actors are pouring out their emotions via social media.<\/p>\n

Paramount<\/em> released a statement, saying that “all of us at Paramount<\/em> join the world in morning the untimely passing of Anton Yelchin. As a member of the Star Trek<\/em> family, he was beloved by so many and he will missed by all. We share our deepest condolences with his mother, father and family.”<\/p>\n

\"ClVuXziUYAAZ0TM\"J.J. Abrams<\/strong>, via Bad Robot<\/em>, said “Anton – You were brilliant. You were kind. You were funny as hell, and supremely talented. And you weren’t here nearly long enough. Missing you.”<\/p>\n

Director Justin Lin<\/strong> was “still in shock. Rest in peace, Anton,” he said. “Your passion and enthusiasm will live on with everyone that had the pleasure of knowing you.”<\/p>\n

Zachary Quinto<\/strong> said, “Our dear friend. our comrade. our Anton. one of the most open and intellectually curious people I have ever had the pleasure to know. So enormously talented and generous of heart. Wise beyond his years. and gone before his time. all love and strength to his family at this impossible time of grief.”<\/p>\n

“I can’t believe it,” said Karl Urban<\/strong>. “I’m fckn hurting bad!”<\/p>\n

John Cho<\/strong> said, “I loved Anton Yelchin so much. He was a true artist – curious, beautiful, courageous. He was a great pal and a great son. I’m in ruins.”<\/p>\n

“Devastated by our friend’s loss,” said Zoe Saldana<\/strong>. “We are mourning his passing and celebrating the beautiful spirit that he was. #RIPAnton.”<\/p>\n

Star Trek Beyond<\/em> guest star Sofia Boutella<\/strong> said “Anton Yelchin was one of the brightest, most inquisitive, loving, special & unique person I’ve ever met, I loved him so much. I am in pieces.”<\/p>\n

“Anton Yelchin Dies at 27. This is heartbreaking,” said Joseph Gatt<\/strong>. We had so much fun on @<\/span>StarTrekMovie<\/span><\/a> into Darkness. RIP brother.”<\/p>\n

Actors from other Trek series also expressed their shock and pain at the news. “Sad news for such a talented young man,” said William Shatner<\/strong>. “Condolences to the family of Anton Yelchin.”<\/p>\n

“Saddened by the tragic loss of a talented, well-loved young actor,” said Robert Picardo<\/strong>. “Peace to Anton and comfort to his loved ones.”<\/p>\n

“RIP #AntonYelchin family member gone too soon,” said Jonathan Frakes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Michael Dorn<\/strong> was “hoping this wasn’t true. Such a talented young actor,” he said, “taken way too soon. Very sad.”<\/p>\n

“In Germany and heard news about Anton,” said Gates McFadden<\/strong>. “Terrible, awful news. seems unfathomable!! cannot imagine how difficult for his loved ones.”<\/p>\n

“What a tragedy, my heart goes out to Anton Yelchin’s family and loved ones,” said Terry Farrell.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Anton Yelchin was a superb actor,” said Rick Berman<\/strong>. “I’ve seen a great deal of his work. What an extremely tragic accident.”<\/p>\n
