Four Star Trek<\/em> comics will be released by IDW Publishing<\/em> in November.<\/p>\n

The comics include Star Trek Vol. 13, Star Trek: The Classic UK Comics, Vol. 2, Star Trek: Boldly Go #2<\/em>, and Star Trek: Waypoint #2<\/em> (of 6).<\/p>\n

Star Trek Vol. 13<\/em> features two stories set in the Kelvin Timeline Universe. In Legacy of Spock<\/em>, “the elder Spock joins the last survivors of Vulcan to search the galaxy for a new home.” In Altered Encounters<\/em>, “the Five Year Mission continues for the Enterprise, as Captain Kirk and the crew encounter…themselves.”<\/p>\n

Written by Mike Johnson,<\/strong> with art and cover by Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, Star Trek Vol. 13<\/em> will collect issues 55 through 60 and will be one-hundred-and-forty pages in length. The issue will cost $19.99.<\/p>\n

Star Trek: The Classic UK Comics, Vol. 2<\/em> features “never-before reprinted comics that originally appeared in weekly British magazines in the early 1970s.” The two-hundred-and-forty page hardback book features stories by multiple writers, as well as artwork by Carlos Pi\u00f1o, Vicente Alc\u00e1zar, John Stokes<\/strong> and Harold Johns<\/strong>. The cover was done by Pi\u00f1o and Alc\u00e1zar.<\/p>\n

The Classic UK Comics<\/em> hardback book will cost $49.99.<\/p>\n

Star Trek: Boldly Go #2<\/em> features an “an all-new Star Trek<\/em> adventure set after the events of Star Trek Beyond<\/em>. Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S Endeavour<\/em> encounter a new threat to the Federation, but one very familiar to Trek fans. Meanwhile, Spock and Uhura face an uncertain future on New Vulcan.”<\/p>\n

Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong>, with art by Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, and a cover by George Caltsoudas<\/strong>; Star Trek: Boldly Go #2<\/em> will be thirty-two pages in length and will cost $3.99. Look for a subscription variant.<\/p>\n

The last November Trek comic will be Star Trek: Waypoint #2<\/em>. This second issue of the Waypoint<\/em> series features two stories from Dayton Ward, Kevin Dilmore<\/strong>, and Sam Maggs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this issue, “Kirk and Spock find an uncharted planet inhabited by monstrous robots” in one story, and in the other story “the backstory of Yeoman Leslie Thompson, the first and only female redshirt to die in the original series,” is presented.<\/p>\n

The thirty-two page issue features art by Gordon Purcell <\/strong>and Rachael Stott<\/strong>, and a cover by David Malan<\/strong>. Star Trek: Waypoint #2<\/em> will cost $3.99 and will feature a subscription and variant covers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
