{"id":44402,"date":"2016-09-06T07:40:53","date_gmt":"2016-09-06T14:40:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=44402"},"modified":"2016-09-06T07:40:53","modified_gmt":"2016-09-06T14:40:53","slug":"starships-collection-ships-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2016\/09\/starships-collection-ships-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"Starships Collection Ships Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At last weekend&#8217;s <em>Star Trek Mission: New York, Eaglemoss<\/em>&#8216; <strong>Ben Robinson<\/strong> announced forthcoming ships.<\/p>\n<p>The series of ship models, which once was slated to run for seventy issues, has been extended to one-hundred-and-thirty issues, not including specials and additional issues.<\/p>\n<p>Fans of the <em>USS Titan<\/em> will be glad to hear that it will be returning in 2017. The <em>USS Aventine<\/em> will also make its debut in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, the <em>Jellyfish<\/em> from <em>Star Trek<\/em> (2009) is due out later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Special issues will include the <em>USS Franklin<\/em>, a Swarm ship from <em>Star Trek: Beyond<\/em>, a Kelvin Timeline Klingon battlecruiser, and <em>Deep Space Station K-7<\/em> (<em>The Trouble with Tribbles<\/em>) that may feature an article by the writer of the episode, <strong>David Gerrold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Also look for the <em>SS Yorktown<\/em>, a<em> USS Enterprise<\/em> design which was &#8220;created for the unmade film <em>Planet of the Titans<\/em>, the<em> USS Saratoga<\/em>, a Medusan ship (<em>Is There in Truth No Beauty?<\/em>), a Suliban cell ship, the <em>ECS Horizon<\/em>, the <em>USS Kyushu<\/em>, an <em>Enterprise<\/em>-era shuttlepod, the <em>Next Generatio<\/em>n type 15 shuttlepod, an early <em>Next Generation<\/em> shuttle, an executive shuttle from <em>Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country<\/em>, a ringship <em>Enterprise<\/em> and more!<\/p>\n<p><em>Jellyfish <\/em>photo courtesy of<em> TrekCore.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At last weekend&#8217;s Star Trek Mission: New York, Eaglemoss&#8216; Ben Robinson announced forthcoming ships.
