{"id":45404,"date":"2017-02-28T10:28:29","date_gmt":"2017-02-28T18:28:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=45404"},"modified":"2017-02-28T10:28:29","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T18:28:29","slug":"star-trek-discovery-this-autumn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2017\/02\/star-trek-discovery-this-autumn\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek: Discovery This Autumn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Monday, at the <em>Morgan Stanley Technology, Media &amp; Telecom Conference, CBS<\/em> CEO<strong> Leslie Moonves<\/strong> spoke about the debut of <em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The latest Trek show will make its debut this year. <em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em> will arrive &#8220;sometime later in the year,&#8221; said Moonves. &#8220;Late summer [or] early fall, we&#8217;re looking at&#8230;right now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Moonves stressed that those involved with the show want to turn out a good product. &#8220;It\u2019s important to get it right,&#8221; he said. &#8220;<em>Star Trek<\/em> is the family jewels. We&#8217;re not going to rush it in a lot of post-production, but I&#8217;m very confident in what I&#8217;ve seen so far.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re full into production. I&#8217;ve seen a little bit of it, and I&#8217;m very excited.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are millions and millions of Trekkies out there. We know for a fact that the other versions of <em>Star Trek<\/em> \u2014 there were seven other series, some of them were great and some of them were terrible \u2014 they all did really well on <em>Netflix<\/em>.
