The musical tells the tale of a samurai and a fisherman who are caught up in the Westernization of the East.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Takei will play the Reciter, who &#8220;narrates the proceedings.&#8221; <strong>Karl Josef Co, Marc DelaCruz, Steven Eng, Megan Masako Haley, Ann Harada, Kimberly Immanuel, Austin Ku, Kelvin Moon Loh, Orville Mendoza, Marc Oka<\/strong> and <strong>Thom Sesma<\/strong> join Takei in the production.<\/p>\n<p><em>Pacific Overtures<\/em> will run through June 18 in New York City.
