He played Melakon on <em>Patterns of Force<\/em>, and Dr. Sevrin in <em>The Way to Eden<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Born <strong>George Vincent Homeier<\/strong> in 1930, Homeier was a child actor who often played tough kids and bad guys (as were Melakon and Dr. Sevrin). Some of his television credits include: <em>The Addams Family, The Outer Limits, Bonanza, Mission: Impossible<\/em>, and <em>Quincy M.E.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>His son posted a brief message on <em>Facebook<\/em> about the death. &#8220;Mourning our loss: my father,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Skip Homeier (George Vincent Homeier). October 5, 1930 &#8211; June 25, 2017. Actor, director, producer in radio, on Broadway, in film and television (both live and taped). Requiesce in Pace.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The day before that, original series stuntman <strong>Loren Janes,<\/strong> born in 1931, died after a battle with Alzheimer&#8217;s. Janes worked twice on the original series; once as stunt double for <strong>William Shatner<\/strong> in <em>Charlie X<\/em>, and the other time for <strong>Richard Tatro<\/strong> (Norman the android) in <em>I, Mudd.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Janes worked on many television shows and movies over the years, including <em>The Ten Commandments, The Magnificent Seven, Planet of the Apes, Little House on the Prairie, The Towering Inferno, Blazing Saddles, Escape from New York, Beverly Hills Cop, MacGyver, America&#8217;s Sweethearts, Spider-Man<\/em> and more.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a family, we will always remember his astonishing life force, his compelling honesty, his outrageous sense of humor, and surprising gentleness,&#8221; said Janes&#8217; family in a statement. &#8220;He was fiercely loyal and loving.
