Five IDW Publishing<\/em> Trek-themed comics will be released in October. The comics include: Star Trek: Boldly Go #13, Star Trek: Waypoint, Star Trek: TNG: Mirror Broken #5, Star Trek: New Visions: What Pain It Is To Drown<\/em>, and Star Trek: Discovery #1<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Star Trek: Boldly Go #13<\/em> is “part 1 of a 6-issue mega-event: I.D.I.C!” In this issue, “scores of realities collide as ‘Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations’\u009d takes on a new meaning for Captain Kirk and his crew…with the fate of all realities at stake!”<\/p>\n

Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong> and featuring art by Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, and covers by Shasteen, Tana Ford<\/strong>, and Yoshi Yoshitani<\/strong>, Boldly Go #13<\/em> will be thirty-two pages in length and will cost $3.99.<\/p>\n

Next up is Star Trek: Waypoint<\/em>. In this anthology series, every fan is offered “a stopping point on the wonderful fifty-year Star Trek<\/em> journey. Reflect on stories of what’s come before and look ahead to the next half-century of Trek. Short stories that run the gamut of Star Trek’<\/em>s history, set during the Original Series, The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise<\/em>, and more, featuring all your favorite characters.”<\/p>\n

Written by Dayton Ward, Sam Maggs, Cecil Castellucci, Rachael Stott, Donny Cates, Sandra Lanz, Kevin Dilmore<\/strong>, and Mairghread Scott<\/strong>; Star Trek: Waypoint<\/em> features art by Gordon Purcell, Megan Levens<\/strong>, and Corin Howell<\/strong>; and a cover by Marc Laming<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The one-hundred-and-forty-four page issue will sell for $19.99.<\/p>\n

In Star Trek: TNG: Mirror Broken #5<\/em>, the “newly stolen I.S.S. The fourth IDW Publishing<\/em> Trek comic release for October is Star Trek: New Visions: What Pain It Is To Drown<\/em>. In this issue, the USS Enterprise<\/em> is “pulled down to a world made entirely of water, [and] is in danger of literally flooding – while Spock and McCoy discover a sinister purpose behind this bizarre planet.”<\/p>\n

Star Trek: New Visions: What Pain It Is To Drown<\/em> is written by, and features art and photo-manipulation by John Byrne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And now we come to Star Trek: Discovery #1<\/em>! Written by Mike Johnson <\/strong>and Kirsten Beyer<\/strong>, and featuring art by Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, and covers by Shasteen and J.K.
