{"id":46432,"date":"2017-07-27T13:56:58","date_gmt":"2017-07-27T20:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=46432"},"modified":"2017-07-27T13:56:58","modified_gmt":"2017-07-27T20:56:58","slug":"pine-in-new-tnt-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2017\/07\/pine-in-new-tnt-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Pine In New TNT Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Star Trek: Beyond<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Chris Pine<\/strong> will be co-starring in a new six-episode <em>TNT<\/em> series.<\/p>\n<p>The dramatic series, <em>One Day She&#8217;ll Darken<\/em>, is based on the autobiography of <strong>Fauna Hodel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>One Day She&#8217;ll Darken<\/em> is the &#8220;story of Hodel, who was given away by her teenage birth mother to a black restroom attendant in a Nevada casino in 1949. As Hodel begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, <strong>Dr. George Hodel<\/strong>, a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery, the spider in the web around the legendary &#8216;Black Dahlia&#8217; murder of <strong>Elizabeth Short<\/strong> in Los Angeles in 1947.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pine will play Jay Singletary, a &#8220;former Marine-turned-hack reporter and paparazzo, [who was] disgraced over his story about Hodel years prior, but now he sees a glimmer of redemption. Jay sees an opportunity, but is also caught in a moral quandary.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>One Day She&#8217;ll Darken<\/em> will start filming in the autumn.
