Last week, at Star Trek Las Vegas, Eaglemoss<\/em> announced the Official Star Trek Starships XL Edition<\/em>, a new collection of oversized Star Trek<\/em> starships.<\/p>\n

The ships will be twice as long as the starships in the regular Eaglemoss<\/em> collection.<\/p>\n

The first ships will be the XL editions of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701<\/em> (eleven inches long), the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D<\/em> (eight-and-a-half inches long), and the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E<\/em> (ten-and-a-half inches long).<\/p>\n

Fans subscribing to the new series can get a ship for $59.95, or they are sold alone for $75.00 each. Shipping is free.<\/p>\n

Each ship “comes with an exclusive collector’s magazine that provides an in-depth profile of the ship, with detailed annotations, and a breakdown of the technology on board, its crew and weapons.”<\/p>\n
