{"id":46786,"date":"2017-09-14T11:59:19","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T18:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=46786"},"modified":"2017-09-14T11:59:19","modified_gmt":"2017-09-14T18:59:19","slug":"klingon-sarcophagus-ship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2017\/09\/klingon-sarcophagus-ship\/","title":{"rendered":"Klingon Sarcophagus Ship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The most recent issue of <em>SFX Magazine<\/em> features a <em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em> story, including data about a Klingon sarcophagus ship.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>SFX<\/em> writer <strong>Ian Berriman<\/strong>, the &#8220;Klingon sarcophagus ship [is] an enormous vessel (three times the size of its Federation counterparts \u2014 [belonging] to a 25th Klingon house that we hadn&#8217;t previously heard of.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Its stepped control deck [is] devoid of the usual consoles, because these Klingons interface with their computers directly via ornate silver masks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Co-executive producer <strong>Ted Sullivan<\/strong> explained that &#8220;It&#8217;s a two hundred year old ship. This is a group of Klingons who&#8217;ve gone back to a Puritan way of life.
