The increase in subscriptions for CBS All Access<\/em>, driven by Star Trek: Discovery,<\/em> will lead to new programming, including a Twilight Zone<\/em> reboot.<\/p>\n

“At CBS All Access<\/em>, we are benefiting from the one-two punch of a full season of the NFL and the launch of Star Trek: Discovery<\/em> and the results have been phenomenal,” said CBS<\/em>‘s CEO Les Moonves<\/strong>. “Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>, in particular, has been a game-changer. The U.S. premiere episode led to new records in All Access<\/em> signups in a single week and in the show’s second week, we topped that record once again.”<\/p>\n

“All Access<\/em> will be the home of a new version of one of the most iconic television shows of all time, The Twilight Zone<\/em>,” said Moonves. “We’re sure that we will dramatically boost subscribers once again.<\/p>\n

“And that’s not all. With Star Trek <\/em>and Twilight Zone<\/em>, we’ve just begun to tap the intellectual property we have at our disposal for future series.”<\/p>\n

Other additions to CBS All Access<\/em> will include “two twenty-four hour streaming news and information services: CBSN<\/em>, a twenty-four hour live news network, and CBS Sports HQ<\/em>.”<\/p>\n
