{"id":47347,"date":"2017-12-06T10:13:48","date_gmt":"2017-12-06T18:13:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=47347"},"modified":"2017-12-06T10:13:48","modified_gmt":"2017-12-06T18:13:48","slug":"cromwell-no-pipeline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2017\/12\/cromwell-no-pipeline\/","title":{"rendered":"Cromwell: No Pipeline!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Star Trek: First Contact<\/em>&#8216;s<strong> James Cromwell<\/strong> is still trying to stop construction of a pipeline in Orange County, New York.<\/p>\n<p>One of the concerns is to protect bald eagles which have been found along the path of the <em>Millennium Pipeline<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The eagle has landed!&#8221; chanted Cromwell and around forty others outside of Manhattan&#8217;s <em>Thurgood Marshall Courthouse<\/em> yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s not just the eagles. &#8220;They&#8217;ve violated air and water quality standards,&#8221; said Cromwell. &#8220;They&#8217;ve cut down Shagbark trees. They violated an Indian burial ground.
