{"id":47376,"date":"2017-12-08T10:29:08","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T18:29:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=47376"},"modified":"2017-12-08T10:29:08","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T18:29:08","slug":"stewart-well-maybe-i-would-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2017\/12\/stewart-well-maybe-i-would-return\/","title":{"rendered":"Stewart: Well Maybe I Would Return"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The news that <strong>Quentin Tarantino<\/strong> might be involved with <em>Star Trek 4<\/em> has interested<strong> Sir Patrick Stewart<\/strong>, who had recently said that he couldn&#8217;t &#8220;think of another instance in which [returning to <em>Star Trek<\/em>] might happen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;People are always saying to me, &#8216;Will you be Jean-Luc Picard again?&#8217; And I cannot think that would be possible, but there are ways in which something like that might come about,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But one of my dreams is to work with Tarantino. I admire his work so much, and to be in a Tarantino film would give me so much satisfaction. So, if he is going to direct something to do with <em>Star Trek<\/em> and there was the possibility of dear old Jean-Luc showing up again and doing that for Mr. Tarantino, I would embrace it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Stewart went on to say why he admired Tarantino&#8217;s work and what it means to him as an actor. &#8220;The one thing that characterizes all of his movies is that frame by frame, it always challenges, always demands your attention, always demands a very kind of open and generous response to what he does,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I also love his sense of humor as a filmmaker.
