This comic follows the crew of the <em>USS Enterprise<\/em>, in the Kelvin timeline, on their five year mission.<\/p>\n<p>In this issue, &#8220;an away team becomes exposed when a massive alien ship arrives in orbit in the <em>Deity<\/em> story. Then, Captain Kirk and the crew are about to encounter their strangest discovery yet, themselves in <em>Live Evil<\/em>, a Mirror Universe story. Next, the <em>USS Enterprise<\/em> meets up with &#8220;a renegade faction of Orions intent on disrupting the truce between their species and the Federation in <em>Reunion<\/em>. In <em>Legacy of Spock<\/em>, the elder Spock &#8220;joins the last survivors of Vulcan to search the galaxy for a new home.&#8221; In the final story,<em> Connection<\/em>, &#8220;the crew comes into contact with a ship that looks eerily familiar.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Written by <strong>Mike Johnson<\/strong> with art and a cover by <strong>Tony Shasteen<\/strong>, <em>Star Trek: New Adventures, Vol. 5<\/em> will be two-hundred-and-ninety-two pages in length and is being released as a trade paperback.
