{"id":47469,"date":"2017-12-21T11:46:16","date_gmt":"2017-12-21T19:46:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=47469"},"modified":"2017-12-21T11:46:16","modified_gmt":"2017-12-21T19:46:16","slug":"star-trek-bridge-crew-open-to-non-vr-players","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2017\/12\/star-trek-bridge-crew-open-to-non-vr-players\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek: Bridge Crew Open To Non-VR Players"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a new free update, the <em>Star Trek: Bridge Crew<\/em> game is now available to virtual reality (VR) and non-VR players on <em>PC<\/em> and on <em>PlayStation 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The update &#8220;includes support for <em>Windows Mixed Reality<\/em> head-mounted displays (HMDs).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In<em> Star Trek: Bridge Crew<\/em>, &#8220;four players to work together to pilot a Federation starship through dangerous missions.&#8221; Until now, only players using VR hardware could play the game. But now, &#8220;using a controller or a mouse and keyboard, players with and without VR headsets can be seamlessly matched together to pilot the<em> USS Aegis<\/em> (or<em> USS Enterprise<\/em> <em>NCC-1701<\/em>) as Starfleet officers, or play alone as captain.
