{"id":47753,"date":"2018-02-08T11:48:27","date_gmt":"2018-02-08T19:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=47753"},"modified":"2018-04-13T12:05:55","modified_gmt":"2018-04-13T19:05:55","slug":"jones-joins-fx-comedy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2018\/02\/jones-joins-fx-comedy\/","title":{"rendered":"Jones Joins FX Comedy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Doug Jones<\/strong> (Saru) has joined the cast of <em>FX<\/em>&#8216;s <em>What We Do in the Shadows.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jones joins<strong> Beanie Feldstein, Jake McDorman<\/strong>, and<strong> Mark Proksch<\/strong> in the half-hour comedy pilot, which is a reboot of the 2014 movie version of <em>What We Do in the Shadows<\/em>, a &#8220;vampire mockumentary.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Well, I guess the cat&#8217;s out of that bag,&#8221; said Jones, via his<em> Twitter<\/em> account.
