{"id":47829,"date":"2018-02-19T12:35:40","date_gmt":"2018-02-19T20:35:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=47829"},"modified":"2018-04-13T13:19:44","modified_gmt":"2018-04-13T20:19:44","slug":"comics-back-to-the-mirror-universe-for-the-next-generation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2018\/02\/comics-back-to-the-mirror-universe-for-the-next-generation\/","title":{"rendered":"Comics: Back To The Mirror Universe For The Next Generation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This spring, the crew of<em> The Next Generation<\/em> will return to the Mirror Universe in a new<em> IDW Publishing<\/em> comic series.<\/p>\n<p>The five-issue comic book series will be called<em> Through the Mirror.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The one thing that&#8217;s never been done in<em> Star Trek<\/em>&#8216;s <em>Mirror Univers<\/em>e tales is an all-out clash between universes,&#8221; said <strong>Scott Tipton<\/strong>, who will be penning the series along with<strong> David Tipton<\/strong>. &#8220;The opportunity to set Picard against Picard was just too exciting to resist.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While the previous<em> Mirror Broken<\/em> series introduced the <em>TNG<\/em> Mirror characters, this new series will give us not only a closer look at them, but also show them crossing over into the Prime Universe, leading up to an ultimate confrontation between the <em>Enterprise<\/em> crews,&#8221; said David Tipton.<\/p>\n<p>Artists for<em> Through the Mirror<\/em> will include <strong>Chris Johnson, Marcus To, Josh Hood, Carlos Nieto, Debora Carita, J.K.
