{"id":47992,"date":"2018-03-19T12:00:52","date_gmt":"2018-03-19T19:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=47992"},"modified":"2018-03-19T12:00:52","modified_gmt":"2018-03-19T19:00:52","slug":"pegg-tarantinos-trek-might-not-be-r-rated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2018\/03\/pegg-tarantinos-trek-might-not-be-r-rated\/","title":{"rendered":"Pegg: Tarantino&#8217;s Trek Might Not Be R-Rated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During an interview at the<em> Rakuten TV Empire Awards<\/em> held in London yesterday, <em>Star Trek Beyond<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Simon Pegg<\/strong> spoke about <em>Star Trek 4<\/em> and whether it would be &#8220;R-rated&#8221; or not.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think he&#8217;s written an R-rated<em> Star Trek<\/em> script,&#8221; said Pegg. &#8220;I think what happened is, he went to<strong> J.J. <\/strong>[<strong>Abrams<\/strong>] with an idea that he&#8217;s had for a while. I remember he told us about it a long time ago. I think he told me and <strong>Edgar <\/strong>[<strong>Wright<\/strong>] about it a long time ago. But he just put it to J.J. and I think J.J.&#8217;s kind of like considering putting it into a writing room. We got an email saying &#8216;Guess what?
