{"id":48072,"date":"2018-03-28T11:38:22","date_gmt":"2018-03-28T18:38:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=48072"},"modified":"2018-03-28T11:38:22","modified_gmt":"2018-03-28T18:38:22","slug":"kurtzman-to-direct-discovery-season-two-premiere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2018\/03\/kurtzman-to-direct-discovery-season-two-premiere\/","title":{"rendered":"Kurtzman To Direct Discovery Season Two Premiere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em> Executive Producer <strong>Alex Kurtzman<\/strong> will be directing the first episode of the second season of <em>Discovery<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Back in February, Kurtzman said, &#8220;I think with <em>Enterprise<\/em>&#8216;s arrival in the finale we recognize that the audience has a lot of questions about our synchronicity with the original series, which really means or synchronicity with canon. So the promise of the <em>Enterprise<\/em> holds the answers to a lot of those questions, including Spock&#8217;s relationship with his half-sister who he&#8217;s never mentioned. Which does not necessarily mean you&#8217;re going to see Spock, just that we owe an answer to that question.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Production on the show resumes next month in Toronto. It has not been revealed though, when the show will resume airing.
