Clarkson<\/em> will be the first female to direct a<em> Star Trek<\/em> film. She is best-known for her work on shows such as<em> Dexter, Bates Motel, Orange is the New Black<\/em>, and<em> Jessica Jones<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Hemsworth<\/strong> will be returning as George Kirk in <em>Star Trek 4<\/em>. Sources told <em>Variety<\/em> that &#8220;a key plot point sees Pine&#8217;s character running into his father (Hemsworth) in a time travel ploy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The screenplay was written by <strong>J.D. Payne <\/strong>and<strong> Patrick McKay. J.J. Abrams <\/strong>and<strong> Lindsey Weber<\/strong> will produce <em>Star Trek 4<\/em> through <em>Bad Robot Productions<\/em>. <em>Skydance Media<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>David Ellison <\/strong>and<strong> Dana Goldberg<\/strong> will executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>As for <strong>Quentin Tarantino<\/strong>?
