The third ship in ANOVOS<\/em>‘ studio-scale starship filming miniatures has been announced, and it is the USS Enterprise<\/em>, as seen in Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This beautiful ship, seen by those lucky enough to attend San Diego Comic-Con<\/em>, measures 35″ long x 16″ wide x 8″ tall.<\/p>\n

“Using digital assets for the Discovery<\/em> provided directly by CBS<\/em> from the show\u2019s production team, our core engineers took these ships’ specifically-focused areas of interest and engineered the internal architecture, which were then given life via 3D printing and integrated with lights.<\/p>\n

“The final effect is a deeper look into not only these beautifully hand-painted ship, but also an interactive experience with the ability to lift portions of the hull plating to reveal the ship’s bussard collectors and deflector dish.”<\/p>\n

The body of the ship is “composed of polymer resin, with steel reinforcement.”<\/p>\n

The ship features over one hundred-and-eighty LED lights, which use a 12V power source, with a “single channel” remote. There is “active illumination for Impulse Engines, Warp Nacelles, Formation, and Anti-Collision lights.”<\/p>\n

The ship comes with a “custom-cut Discovery<\/em>-style Starfleet<\/em> non-split delta display stand,” and “a separate display plaque featuring starship’s name and registry.” The ship will be “packaged in [a] wooden prop box lined with convoluted foam.”<\/p>\n
