{"id":48948,"date":"2018-08-04T22:01:54","date_gmt":"2018-08-05T05:01:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=48948"},"modified":"2018-08-04T22:01:54","modified_gmt":"2018-08-05T05:01:54","slug":"what-we-left-behind-stlv-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2018\/08\/what-we-left-behind-stlv-update\/","title":{"rendered":"What We Left Behind STLV Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Those lucky stiffs at <em>TrekMovie<\/em> are in attendance at <em>Star Trek Las Vegas<\/em>, and were able to attend the <em>Deep Space Nine: What We Left Behind<\/em> panel.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights of the panel were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>What We Left Behind<\/em> will be released in 2018 to campaign backers and those who pre-ordered the documentary.<\/li>\n<li>The documentary may be available later via a streaming service.<\/li>\n<li><em>What We Left Behind<\/em> will be about an hour and forty-minutes long, exclusive of credits.<\/li>\n<li>Although <strong>Avery Brooks<\/strong> did not provide a new interview, he is &#8220;fully supportive&#8221; and he is &#8220;watching over the doc&#8221; according to <strong>Ira Steven Behr<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A big theme of the documentary is &#8220;family.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Forty to fifty interviews were done; about one hundred and twenty hours worth of interviews.<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;Writer&#8217;s Room&#8221; segment of the documentary will be about eighteen to twenty minutes long.<\/li>\n<li>Expect &#8220;a lot&#8221;
