Two years after the death of Star Trek Beyond<\/em>‘s Anton Yelchin<\/strong>, the foundation set up in his honor has made a million dollar donation; to the University of Southern California<\/em>‘s Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at<\/em> Keck Hospital<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Keck<\/em> has been renamed to the Anton Yelchin Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at Keck Hospital of USC<\/em>. It has been revealed that Yelchin was born with cystic fibrosis and had received treatment for ten years at Keck’<\/em>s cystic fibrosis center.<\/p>\n

Yelchin’s parents, and the Anton Yelchin Foundation<\/em>‘s board of directors, including Z\u00f6e Salda\u00f1a<\/strong>, were in attendance at the commemoration ceremony on Monday.<\/p>\n

“The staff at the cystic fibrosis clinic was like a family to Anton,” said Yelchin’s mother, Irina Yelchin<\/strong>. “He worked hard and was dedicated to living a healthy life. When he needed assistance, they were always there for him.”<\/p>\n

“Anton had a generous spirit,\u201d said Victor Yelchin,<\/strong> Anton’s father. “This gift not only reflects our gratitude to the clinic but also Anton’s dedication to helping others.”<\/p>\n

The Anton Yelchin Cystic Fibrosis Clinic<\/em> “aids cystic fibrosis patients transitioning from pediatric to adult treatment.”<\/p>\n
